UNIDEV CREATES A TRUE TEAM PROCESS

We believe in working with clients – as well as for clients, and know that our clients must be involved in the strategizing and decision-making processes from the inception of any project through its completion. It is important that clients “own” the process as well as the product.

Depending on the specific needs and wishes of the client, UniDev will work with the client’s in-house team or provide a turnkey service. However, it is our experience that the most successful projects result from solutions that are developed from within the institution, rather than originating from the outside.

Executive Committee and Working Group

UniDev effectively guides the group process. At the beginning of each project we suggest the creation both of a client Executive Committee and Working Group for the project’s duration. The Executive Committee considers policy issues and makes significant decisions. The Working Group – a subset of the larger Executive Committee – gathers necessary due diligence, decides on day-to-day matters, and makes recommendations regarding more significant issues to the Executive Committee. The stronger the group members, the better the process work. Decisions of the group are easier to implement when made by key client’s constituencies.

UniDev’s staff is experienced in large and complex projects, and possesses a wide range of expertise. In addition, we have relationships with well-established firms who can add important capabilities to the mix – including financing, green development, market analysis and product placement consulting. We create a multidisciplinary team of professionals – including architects, attorneys, builders, land planners, civil engineers, and market analysts – who are brought together at the inception of a project to provide a full-service feasibility analysis and to complete a creative, successful project.
