What is an Owner’s Representative?

• A company that assists a client to act as its own development entity when the client lacks sufficient internal resources, in time or expertise, to do so on its own.
• The Owner’s Representative provides many of the services of a developer - such as hiring planners, architects, engineers, and builders, supervising their efforts, and working out the financing for projects being constructed – but works for a set fee and does not get a portion of the profits or invest capital in the project itself.
