Myron P. (Mike) Curzan, Chief Executive Officer (Bethesda, MD)

Mike is an experienced leader in real estate finance, development, and strategic planning for universities and other major not for profit organizations. He founded MPC & Associates in 1983 where for ten years, as President and CEO, and then as Chairman of the Board, he planned large communities, student housing projects, individual buildings, recreational facilities and child care centers. James H. (Jim) Edmondson, President (Bethesda, MD)

Jim has been involved in real estate development and finance since 1972 when he worked for Touche Ross and met Mike Curzan while working for a HUD-appointed taskforce. Through the ‘70s Jim oversaw workouts of retail and commercial real estate loans for the Ohio-based firm Realcon III and continued to work with Mike on complex ventures for HUD. In the early ‘80s Jim formed Edmondson & Gallagher to develop affordable apartments using tax-exempt bonds, equity syndications, and HUD-insured financing mechanisms; he joined Mike at UniDev LLC in 1997. Jeffrey A. (Jeff) Minter, Executive Vice President UniDev LLC & CEO UniDev Hawaii LLC (Honolulu, HI)

Jeff Minter has been with UniDev since 1999 first as the head of our west coast operations running the California State University projects and now creating and running the UniDev Hawaii LLC portfolio. Jeff came to UniDev from the Urban Land Institute where he was Vice President, District Councils and where he directed ULI’s Leadership Development Program, the District Council and Product Council programs, and the Advisory Services Program. Mike and Jeff worked together in the early 90’s on the George Washington University Student Center and Health and Wellness Center projects. Prior to that, Jeff served as vice president of Culbro Homes in Windsor, CT where he directed investment analysis and master planning for major residential development sites.

Jeff has a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL and an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT.

Timothy L. (Tim) McCarty, Vice President (Jackson, MS)

Tim joined UniDev in 2002 after receiving his M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business where his studies focused on real estate development and finance.  Prior to receiving this degree, and after graduating with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in electrical engineering, Tim served for nine years as U. S. Navy F-14 Radar Intercept Officer.

Ehud G. Mouchly, Vice President, West Coast Operations (Los Angeles, CA)

ehudEhud joined UniDev in January 2006 having served in senior management positions in various real estate organizations for over 30 years. His experience includes entitlements, financing, development and management of master planned communities, mixed-use projects and public/private joint ventures. Prior to joining UniDev, Ehud was: owner of READI, LLC, a privately-held real estate development and management company; an affiliate of SunCal Companies; General Manager of Anaverde (City Ranch), a major KB Home master-planned community in southern California; co-developer and principal investor in The Landmark at Lathrop, a large-scale commercial mixed use project in Northern California; Managing Director in the Real Estate Group of Price Waterhouse; and, co-founder and President of Kotin Mouchly Group.

Ehud is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where he has served in leadership positions of the Community Development Council, the national Program Committee, the Annual Trends Conference and the Los Angeles District Council Executive Committee. He is an adjunct professor in the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program at USC and a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate.

Ehud holds bachelors and masters degrees in political science, economics, and Middle East studies from Columbia University.

Suzanne H. Parmet, Vice President, Development Services (Market Analysis, Design & Green Development) (Bethesda, MD)

Suzanne joined UniDev in 1998, after practicing law with the firm Holland & Knight, where she focused on real estate development and finance matters, particularly with respect to multifamily housing projects. Prior to receiving her legal training, Suzanne worked for the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department developing tax-foreclosed properties into affordable housing.

In addition to serving as a Senior Project Manager on various projects, Suzanne is the director of UniDev’s green development undertaking. She also takes the lead on market analysis and design issues, and provides general legal services to the firm.

Suzanne received a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.S. in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.

Peter Smirniotopoulos, Vice President, Development (Bethesda, MD)

Prior to joining UniDev in 2005, Peter was the founder and Managing Director of petersgroup companies which facilitated the creation of urban housing, mixed-use projects, new town centers and planned communities throughout the United States. He has been a real estate and corporate finance attorney in private practice in Washington, DC, and the director of redevelopment for the City of Alexandria, VA. Peter has handled comprehensive planning, and capital formation and finance transactions, well in excess of $2 billion.

Peter has authored twenty nationally published articles on topics such as smart growth and University Town Centers; he has written a chapter on residential finance for a published textbook in residential development, and has been a featured speaker for such national organizations as ULI, the Government of the District of Columbia, and the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO). Peter teaches in the Masters of Science in Real Estate Program at Johns Hopkins University where he has been on the faculty since 1999. He is a Full Member of ULI and has served on five Advisory Services panels, including two as Panel Chair.

Peter earned both a B.A. in Government and J.D. from Georgetown University.
