PRE-DEVELOPMENT PLANNING

Once our client decides upon a development plan, UniDev directs and co-ordinates all activity needed to reach the beginning of construction. We screen and bring together an implementation team – including architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and energy consultants – who share the goal of delivering high quality products within a reasonable budget and time frame. UniDev obtains necessary approvals from the appropriate jurisdictional authorities (including planning commissions, boards of architectural review, and elected bodies such as city councils and county boards of supervisors. We develop the structure of required financing, bring the key organizations into the deal, and structure and close on the construction loans. UniDev’s role is to bring substance to the pre-development process; keep it moving forward expeditiously, and tackle and resolve potential impediments.
