An Owner’s Representative is a company that assists a client to act as its own development entity when the client lacks sufficient internal resources, in time or expertise, to do so on its own. The Owner’s Representative provides many of the services of a developer – such as hiring planners, architects, engineers, and builders, supervising their efforts, and working out the financing for the projects being constructed – but works for a set fee and does not get a portion of the profits or invest capital in the project itself.
